Making Stuff – Adaptation

I’ve started making these embossed leaves socks several times but haven’t liked my yarn choices. So this summer I used the lace chart to make two cowls instead.
They were nice one skein projects to work on while supervising construction projects this summer.
I’ll be making more lacy cowls in the future.
Orange yarn is a discontinued Sheep Shop, the blue is Berroco Vintage Chunky, and the awesome bags are from Jessalu her knitting & spinning bags (especially the Doctor Who) are the best.
I love that stitch pattern! The cowls are really cute. I’m a terrible sock knitter, so this strikes me as an awesome idea.
